Update - Behind The Seams: The Shaeffer Collection Volume One: CHANEL
I had posted about Claire Shaeffer's Behind The Seams: The Shaeffer Collection Volume One: CHANEL - CD in Feb....... so I thought I'd share this information with you!
David Coffin left a comment on my Feb post today saying that .... "this project has been so delayed; Claire's just been too busy to nail down! But I'm optimistic that we'll be ready to go soon, like in the next month or 6 weeks"…
He also said ....." this is a collection of high-quality still images with text, not a video, and there's many hundreds of them, way more than could ever be put in a book"......Thank you so much for taking the time to pass on this information Mr Coffin. I truly appreciate the update.
I am really looking forward to this CD..... so now I know .... 4- 6 more weeks :)Happy Sewing!

I am looking forward to a review on this cd book.
Thanks for the info. I too am looking forward to this.
Thanks for sharing Ann. Please let us know when it is out.
Well--yay! I love everything Claire Shaeffer does--books, patterns--all of it.
Well, this puts into perspective just how difficult this really is. It looks like all they do is sew, snap and poof the pics fall into place and voila a book/CD or whatever. Just a little more to it. I think we bloggers know that in just trying to document our projects. I can't imagine doing an intricate garment like this. The great thing is that they are doing it correctly with wonderful directions. Looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to this too, though I would truly like a book as well. Looks like the next book/dvd on trousers is very promising in that direction: http://makingtrouserswithdpc.blogspot.com/
How is your Chanel jacket going ?
Thanks Ann for the update. I'll be looking forward to when it appears.
I hope the blouse goes well Ann. I'm working on the patterns tonight. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I think I need more fabric, I'll have to see if they have more tomorrow.
Ann .- thanks for the info ... "mademoiselle´s World" is fascinating and it shows you're a big fan.
take care, Paco
Thanks for sharing, Ann! Hope you're having a great weekend (Mine hasn't been so great, in fact the week hasn't been so great either: my boyfriend is sick with the flu... He's already feeling better though)
