European Pattern Making

I started a pattern making course!!
The European Patternmaking Course, from
Le Grand Chic School of Fashion and Design.
It is taught by a lady in Ontario. I will write more about the course as I progress through it.
But so far I am Loving it. The course starts with drafting skirts so
I am sewing up lots of mock ups ~ Skirts, for me,
and my girls ~ my daughter and my sons girlfriend.

I have been neglecting my blog  so
I can concentrate on my work but I will
post  more details on this great course....

I'm still making activewear, tights and tops.
I will post more about that also.

Just a short post to check in and
Even  though I am not posting often I am sewing.

Have a great day!

Are you doing this in a classroom or are you taking it online. I am wondering as this is something I really want to learn how to do also.

I'm also taking classes in pattern making, but the ones offered through Craftsy with Suzy Furrer. She is very quick to answer and give advice on photos that are posted, but it would be wonderful to see how other people are learning this. I hope you are able to post photos of what you are doing. I'll bet you are having a great time. (I also took a wonderful course at the New Brunswick School of Art and Design in Fredericton, last summer.)

I just looked up the web site and see that it the courses are in Barrie, Ontario--my hometown! I just moved to Fredericton from Barrie when I retired 3 years ago, and returned to sewing. Such a coincidence. I know Georgian College very well, but wasn't sewing seriously then.
