I am still around...just haven't posted in a very long time.
To get back into sewing I thought I 'd join "The never too many shirts project" that Barbara from "Sewing on the Edge" is starting.
I think this will be a great project to do and I have so many shirt patterns that I want to make.
Project button from Barbara
I bought a Uniquely You dress form from Trimmings Dress Maker in Montreal.
I made the cover ~ with some assistance from Claire.
I truly appreciated her help. Claire is so generous with her time and so knowledgeable . It was wonderful having her expert advice. Thank You again Claire.
Making the cover to fit me was a really fun project to do and I truly love the results.
I will post a picture of Annabelle shortly.
Thankyou for bringing this to my attention! I've popped over to Barbara's blog and asked if I can join in too...
I look forward to seeing your white shirt. And, of course, a picture of Annabelle...
Thankyou again for your sweet and ever uplifting comments which make my day whenever I read them, you are such a kind person!
I have needed a white shirt forever. I can never find the right fabric. I made a spotted one last weekend that I love, but I really need a white one! Looking forward to seeing yours.
I am glad to hear of you. Hope everything alright with you. I know blogging is so time consuming that some time there are more important things to do first.
Glad to see you posting and in the mood to start sewing again. Looking forward to your white shirt(s).
Oh! Welcome. I missed you. I am pleased that you find time once again for your sewing.
Ooooo - looks like so much fun!
Sounds like an interesting project!
Oooh I'll be glad when it's next year and I can join in with the lovely sewalongs in Blogland.
I'm very envious that I won't be in on this one but really can't wait to see what you make.
I am happy that you might have a bit of sewing time. And congratulations on getting your dress form padded out. I can only imagine how valuable Claire's help must be - she does such wonderful work.
Ann,it was so great to see you at Fabricville and in Sobey's. I'm quite keen on the Uniquely You dress form and haven't broken it to Bob yet. ( He's watching football).Have fun with the shirt sew along!
I agree: you can never have too many white shirts!
Glad to hear from you and what a great project and looking forward to your many shirts.
