Vogue 8259 - Trims & Buttons -Blues
** Thank you so much Birgitte, Anne, Lindsay and Paco for your help and offers. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness :)After yesterday's post, I've been playing around - allot - with the white trim and also making trim from the bouclé fabric, however I didn't come up with anything I liked.
I had these buttons and trim for another project, and when I tried them with this blue/white bouclé fabric, well I kind-a like it :)
The trim is a variegated color that actually blends very nicely. When the light reflects on the buttons, the blue of the bouclé fabric comes out in the buttons! The buttons look goldish in the picture (on my screen), however they are actually an antiqued looking silver. Fabric, trim and buttons all seem to just fit together! I'm happy. Now I can carry on :)

perfect, much better .... I am happy for you.
Thank you Paco. When everything falls into place and comes together, the project always just
feels better :)
ahhh oui !!! I think that you are in business now ! I think that the buttons will be perfect. I am looking forward to see the effect of the biding on the actual jacket. You chose a great pattern. Plus Claire Schaffer's instructions are so wonderful.
Beautiful buttons, perfect for the material and a Chanel jacket.
Now you're talkin'! Love it!
Much better!
Good choice! They are really gorgeous, and inussual.
Yes, I think those are much better than the white choices - much classier and brings out the blue.
WOW, the buttons are just PERFECT!!!!
The combinations are really pretty!
The blue buttons are a wonderful contrast to the fabric. Perfect!
I love these buttons and think they look wonderful with your fabric. The antique silver look is great. They do pick up the blue and reflect the white. Great choice.
Yes, you have found a pretty good match with these! Thanks also for keeping us up to date with the Chanel CD-Rom!
Yes, those buttons and that trim is just perfect!
Beautiful and perfect selections for the jacket.
I love the blue.
