Neue Mode Patterns

I have been looking at purchasing - on and off -Neue Mode Patterns. I would print out the patterns cover picture that I liked and put them up on my inspirational board. Today I finally decided to actually buy some. A sort of a little pick me up for the past couple of bad weeks. I found several sites that sell them, but the best I found was Mynotions*com. They also have a sale on patterns - for $1.00 . So - yes I did indulge and buy - allot - I have never used these patterns but they appear to be like Burda?? If anyone has used them I would appreciate your input on how they are compared to other pattern companies. I did check out Pattern Review and there are not many reviews. I hope I don't regret my purchase. Here are some of the patterns I bought. I like them all but I really like the 22471 dress.

These pictures are all taken from Mynotions*com site. .....and I do have a few more on my Flicker album that I purchased. I had so much fun shoppping! They are all such nice styles. I'm so anxious to get this parcel in the mail :)

That cold doesn't sound like much fun - hope you are back to 100% soon. Those patterns are really nice. I haven't tried them so will be interested in how you find them.

Ann, I think you have done a very good purchase. The models are always in style fashion. I love the dress with jacket 23214, I imagine up in a strong color as shown in drawing. Congratulations on your purchase. Greetings. Paco

kbenco - it sure does look like I am gearing up for a marathon :)they gave me the modivation to want to sew :)that's good.
Paco I will keep the strong colour in mind. I do want to try a "red" colour since I don't wear that colour much :)

I thought Neue Mode was going out of business. Lucky you that you got these. I even have two of the ones you are getting. I made a skirt from their patterns. They don't have seam allowances so you will need to add those. I found the fit of the skirt to be good, similar to Burda. I did make a knit top from one, but it did not turn out well, but that was operator error (mine) not the patterns. I look forward to seeing your first garment made from one of these.

And now I know you are interested in sewing machine repair!! I hope you will post about it some time.
Seems it would be a very handy skill.

You have a great selection of patterns. I've sewn Neue Mode a few times, and they are similar to Burda as Linda stated. Look forward to seeing what you make from these great patterns.

I'm eagar to see what you think of the Neue Mode patterns. I've been stalking them for sometime - just haven't been able to commit. Also, thanks for the tip about the price at MyNotions. I haven't been there but will definitely check them out now.
