Yes, and I just bought some more last night! I made a long cardigan about three years ago that I wear almost once a week. And, there's very little pilling on the fabric. I've also made a couple pairs of pants with it. So, I highly recommend.

This fabric looks lovely from the photos. I think these will look amazing. And be super comfy!

Yes. I'm actually wearing a Christine Jonson cardigan made of it. It wears and sews very well.

Thanks,
Cennetta

Yes the ponte roma is great and actually the exact fabric Peggy recommends! Watch her yoga pants webcast. Just make sure to avoid the one called ponte without the roma...its totally different!

I've used Joann's ponte roma, for the silhouette yoga pants and for a couple Vogue 8712 pants. They have held up fairly well; I work with children so am up and down a lot; machine wash and dry and no pilling so far.

I haven't used it, but it is good to see some great reviews above in the comments. The colour range is great!

Ponte Roma is one of my favorite fabrics. I've used it for dresses and skirts, but not for pants yet.

I'm about to sew up a dress using ponte. The pieces are cut out and waiting to be sewn. It's my inbetween project when I need a coat-making break.
I'll also be making up the yoga pants too. The style lines intrigue me.
Have a lovely weekend.

Peggy Sagers recommends ponte Roma that has rayon in it. So that, along with other commenters' experience makes me think you will be happy with it. I also suggest you watch her yoga pant web cast if you haven't used the three piece yoga pant pattern before. Enjoy!

I haven't used ponte yet, though it seems to be quite popular these days. I'll be interested to know about your experience with it. It's a knit, so it must be comfortable, right?

Oh - can't wait to see how your yoga pants turn out. I'm trying them in a different fabric, but I may have to go get this one after reading these reviews...

I used a heavier weight poly rayon lycra ponte knit (mine came from Hancock Fabrics) for the 3011 yoga pants and I love the comfort and the good looks; no wrinkles or bagging out. My pants are gray and people have told me it is not obvious the pants were made out of knit. This was important to me since I did not want to look like I was dressed for Yoga when I was at work. Ponte knit from differnt manufacturers can have slightly different weights and drapes.
