My Little Red Dress - Picture promised .....

Neue Mode 22471

This was a quick back yard deck picture taking session.
When I  wear it  to my son's graduation I'll actually wear shoes...and accessories......  :)

Thank you everyone for the nice comments on my last post!
We are all so very happy!.

I would like to also pass on that my i300 iron is perfect and it is an absolute pleasure
to work with it....no spitting...not a single drop......at all!

The service was excellent and I received it days after ordering it from Reliable, in Toronto Canada.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week end.

You look fabulous! who needs shoes?

Bunny...the funny thing is I don't have a pair of red shoes "yet". I just can't find a pair I like and that matches.
I was watching "What not to Wear" today, and I'm sure Stacy was wearing a pair of brown? shoes with a red dress similar to mine? Maybe I don't need red shoes?

Your dress is just beautiful! I haven't started on one yet - it's for Mardi Gras which isn't till next year. I bought this pattern because yours turned out so well, but I have to see if it'll go with the wacky fabric I'm thinking about. If not I'll make it for something else. Good luck with the shoes and thanks for the picture!

Thankyou for posting a picture of yourself in your dress. Of course, you look stunning!!! It's a beautiful colour on you.
Re shoes: I think you could wear any colour shoes with that dress! Red shoes would look WOW!

Great sheath! I must get up the nerve to try one. Love that color on you.

That red looks beautiful on you. And as for the shoes: I think many colours would look wonderful. Nude would be great indeed, I think. And what about something a little grey-ish? I have some grey shoes that look stunning with my red dresses.

This is a lovely dress and the colour suits you perfectly. I'm keen to see what shoes you end up selecting. From my own collection I have purple, silver, brown, black and a multicolour pair that I would try on with this dress. I know red isn't considered a neutral but I think you could change the tone of the dress by selecting a different shoe colour. A nude shoe, as Karin suggests, would look gorgeous for an afternoon function, but a bright yellow pair could turn it in to a fun party dress. Mmm, perhaps I need one of these little red dresses ...

When in doubt about shoe color...try to match your hair or secondly match your accessories. Hey, no one's going to be looking at the shoes :)

Ann, that is one really flattering dress. You did your usual excellent job on it. I think you should make it in several colors, it's that great a pattern.
