Oh dear - this is beyond words....I just can't tell you how I've been after that "Know How" look all my life, and now thankfully you have finally described it perfectly. Oh Yeah, I want that soundtrack too!

Pardon me now while I go skipping to the nut house!!!!

How 'bout those notches....I think I cut those things out once like that and that was the end of that!

Absolutely amazing!!

I'm almost old enough to remember this type of video. Thank you so much for sharing. I try to tell my daughter about how things used to be, but you "just had to be there."

The first one especially is a hoot! Pretty good advice in both, but what is this "basting" they refer to? :-)

Love the Featherweight!

Thanks for sharing these, Ann. While I wasn't even a gleam in my parents' eyes at that time, it does bring back memories of my great aunts & grandmother's sewing process. It also reminded me of watching my beloved MIL sew. She was a stickler for rules. She claimed that I always sewed with "a red hot needle & a burning thread". I think that was her way of telling me to slow down some.
