My Run-4-Fun

I love running - and it's that time of year when the weather is great and I can start running outside. I enjoy that so much more than running in the inside track. I do run inside all winter but for some reason I don't keep track of the distance I run. Over the summer months I like to see how much I actually run.
I think these little graphical trackers from The Ticker Factory are great, so I'm using it again this year.
I've set my goal / guess-timate :) for 1000 km's from now till end October. We'll see how that works out.

Good luck with your run, Ann. I know you'll do it. Thank you for leaving a comment on my new post. I feel so much better today. I was sick a whole week and was getting very bored. I won't be working this week and probably not till the end of next week. How's your jacket coming along? I just have buttonholes and buttons to add to a jacket that will be part of a little black suit and my Swap is officially finished. (tonight I hope).

Diana, I'm happy to hear you are feeling better :)
My jacket - I have had so "little" time to sew and when I did have time I was having problemS with the fabric. It would not take a buttonhole, it just kept fraying/tearing ??...so after a gazillion test button holes I've made bound buttonholes and am happy with them.
(The cuff buttonholes are another issue.) So with all this I hope to have it done any day now :)
I'm anxious to see your little black suit.

Wow--I'm in awe of anyone who exercises like you do! I think I'm doing a big deal just walking down the road! Good for you!

Forty kilometres per week ! You are a serious runner. And I think I am hot because I walk at least 20-25 kilometres per week... to go to work. I am very much impressed.

Thanks for the link to The Ticker Factory. I'm with you...I would much rather run outside than on the treadmill!

I don't run, but I walk around my yard (which is pretty durn big) a lot. Good luck with reaching your goal; maybe seeing the little ticker will keep you at it!

Oh goodness, I'm so impressed. I do spinning, but can't do the running - age, shin splints, age, bad knees, age - well you get the idea!

That's a lot of running! Enjoy being outside in the fresh air.

Good luck on that! I'm not a runner, but I walk on the treadmill if that counts. :):):) I need to do it more often though,

What a fabulous idea! I love running too but I'm not running anymore because of my bad right knee; I must exercise with low knee impact routines...

I've always wanted to get into running. I was a sprinter in high school but always admired the long distance runners. My husband runs alot and I've started. I can do about 3 miles now, hopefully I can slowly get my distance increased over time. That's why you look so young!

Wouldn't you know it, the day after I posted this I came down with a pretty nasty cold and have not been able to exercise since :(
I'm hoping to be back at it in a couple of days.
