Deer - in Our Back Yard!

These friendly deer have been visiting our back yard lately.....but only to eat our hedges and the bird food!!
I was quick enough today to get a picture of them before they ran off :)

Too friendly by half. I am a landscape designer and they have become a plague in many of the areas I work in. To think that I thought they were so cute when I moved into this house.

They are so cute, and yes, they will eat everything in sight :) We used to have them when we lived in the hills and I finally just gave up on trying to have a nice garden.
And look at all that snow. brrr!!! ;)

They are beautiful, but be a terror in the garden. My sister has visitors everyday, front and back yard.

We have a lot of these terrorists in our yard (and town). The last time our town got a new police cruiser, a deer ran into the side of the car when we'd had it a month, then another one ran out in front of the chief and wrecked the same fender again a month after it was fixed. This is the guy who stopped me when I bought a classic car recently, so he could check it out and drive it a couple of miles; he adores cars. He has begged me to have my brother in law, who's a hunter, get a couple from my yard, and swears he'll fill out the paperwork to say it was a motor vehicle strike. Yeah, those of us who live with them in our yards find them pesky.

And thanks for the award a couple of days ago; I'll write about it in the next day or so, I promise!

These guys are popular every where...our poor hedge will look much "smaller" when the snow goes away.

Marjie, I made the Polynesian Meatballs...they are delicious!

They are lovely! Here, the only chance to see those cuties live is in the zoo! Thank you so much for sharing these photos, Ann!

Ann this is magic, I saw some of these when I was in Norway in November last year, it was a lovely picture. As Tany says, I've only seen them in zoos before:)
